Delete your data

Gunaah Simulator has no accounts and no servers of ours, so there's no account to delete: almost everything connected to the game is on your phone or with Google. This page explains how to remove each part. The privacy policy lists what is involved.

1. Your progress on the phone

Your progress, settings and the record of which purchases you own are saved on your phone only.

• To start over and keep the game: tap Naya Khel in the menu. This resets your Paap, your Paap Khata, your unlocks and your challenges. Your settings and purchases stay.
• To delete everything: uninstall the game, or open your phone's Settings → Apps → Gunaah Simulator → Storage and tap Clear data.

The game doesn't use Android's cloud backup, so nothing comes back after that. Your purchases aren't lost: they belong to your Google account and are restored when you install the game again.

2. Ads

Google AdMob uses your phone's advertising ID. You can reset or delete it in your phone's settings, under Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads on most phones. Once it's deleted, it can no longer be used to personalise ads. You can see and manage how Google uses your data in My Ad Center and your Google Account's data and privacy settings.

We don't receive or hold this data, so we can't delete it for you.

3. Purchases

Google Play keeps the records of what you bought, under its own policy. You can see them in the Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history. We keep the order details Google Play shares with us, such as the order number, the item and the country, for as long as tax and accounting laws require, so we can't delete them sooner.

4. Crash reports

Crash and performance reports reach us through Google Play only from phones whose owners share usage and diagnostics with Google, and they don't include your name or contact details. You can turn this sharing off in your phone's Google settings, under Usage & diagnostics.

5. Emails to us

To have your emails to us deleted, write to support@gunaahsimulator.in from the same address with the subject Delete my data. We delete them within 30 days and confirm by email. Otherwise, we keep support emails for no longer than two years.

6. This website

The website sets no cookies, has no accounts and stores nothing in your browser, so there is nothing to clear. Its hosting provider's server logs expire on their own.

What is kept

• Purchase records: Google Play keeps its own, and we keep the order details that tax and accounting laws require, for as long as those laws say.
• Your request: we keep a record of your deletion request and our reply, to show that we handled it.
